Acute care hospital: COM3000 headend and 200 patient room TVs

The hospital’s aging headend was dropping channels weekly and parts were getting hard to source. We staged a new COM3000 alongside it, rebuilt the lineup to the facility’s DIRECTV contract, and cut over overnight. Patient TVs never went dark. Over the following three weeks we swapped 200 patient room TVs onto new pole mounts, room by room with clinical staff.
